GREEK

Greek 1 is where most of our students start - the very beginning! This course assumes no prior knowledge and is the perfect place to start your life-long journey of Koine Greek learning. Greek 1A consists of nine 90-minute interactive lessons, and covers chapters 1 -8 of Clayton Croy’s A Primer of Biblical Greek.

Greek 2 begins right where Greek 1 ends. You will learn all indicative verb forms and continue developing your Koine Greek vocabulary. Greek 2 consists of nine 90-minute interactive lessons, and covers chapters 9-16 of Clayton Croy’s A Primer of Biblical Greek.

 Greek 3 begins right where Greek 2 ends. You will learn non-indicative verb forms and continue developing your Koine Greek vocabulary. Greek 3 consists of nine 90-minute interactive lessons, and covers chapters 17-24 of Clayton Croy’s A Primer of Biblical Greek.

Greek 4 begins right where Greek 3 ends. You will study all remaining grammatical and syntactical categories as well as athematic verbs. Greek 4 consists of nine 90-minute interactive lessons, and covers chapters 25-32 of Clayton Croy’s A Primer of Biblical Greek.

The Greek of Mark is an exegesis class open to all students who have completed Greek 4 with Kairos Classroom or another academic equivalent. This course will walk word-by-word through nine pericopes in Mark, focusing on grammar and syntax as well as on exegesis and theology.

Rediscover New Testament Greek offers you a flexible and affordable way to get your New Testament Greek back on track. This nine-week course covers all basic grammar and syntax at a pace suitable for those who have studied Greek at some time before.


HEBREW

HEBREW 1 starts at the very beginning! This course assumes no prior knowledge and is the perfect place to start your life-long journey of Biblical Hebrew learning. Hebrew 1 consists of nine 90-minute interactive lessons and covers chapters 1-9 of Mark Futato’s Beginning Biblical Hebrew.

Hebrew 2 begins right where Hebrew 1 ends. It consists of nine 90-minute interactive lessons and covers chapters 10-20 of Mark Futato’s Beginning Biblical Hebrew.

Five Big Debates in New Testament Studies is a five-part course that explores the most fascinating questions in current New Testament Scholarship. We’re not here to solve these complex issues for you. We simply hope that seeing the ways that New Testament scholars answer these questions will drive you deeper into the text and toward your own informed conclusions.

Understanding the World of the New Testament is a five-part course that dives into the history and culture of the New Testament world and shows how it changes the way we read Scripture. Who were the Pharisees? What was Roman Citizenship, and why did it matter for Paul? What was a “Zealot?” Why are there so many Herods and how are they related? Why was the New Testament written in Greek? This class will address these key questions, as well as many more.
