At Kairos Classroom we want to make the biblical languages come alive to you! All of our language courses are LIVE and INTERACTIVE using Microsoft Teams. Live classes give you the opportunity to engage with others in real time, be encouraged, and tailor learning to your personal goals.
Your journey to learn the basic grammar of Greek includes 4 courses that are nine weeks each. Each class meets for 90 minutes once a week. Sign up for the day and time that is best for you! This allows you to discover and learn the original languages at a pace that is convenient and accessible no matter your background.

Greek 1 is where most of our students start - the very beginning! This course assumes no prior knowledge and is the perfect place to start your life-long journey of Koine Greek learning. Greek 1 consists of nine 90-minute interactive lessons and covers chapters 1 -9 of Kairos Greek.

Greek 2 begins right where Greek 1 ends. You will learn all indicative verb forms and continue developing your Koine Greek vocabulary. Greek 2 consists of nine 90-minute interactive lessons, and covers chapters 10-18 of Kairos Greek.

Greek 3 begins right where Greek 2 ends. You will learn non-indicative verb forms and continue developing your Koine Greek vocabulary. Greek 3 consists of nine 90-minute interactive lessons and covers chapters 17-24 of Clayton Croy’s A Primer of Biblical Greek.

Greek 4 begins right where Greek 3 ends. You will study all remaining grammatical and syntactical categories as well as athematic verbs. Greek 4 consists of nine 90-minute interactive lessons, and covers chapters 25-32 of Clayton Croy’s A Primer of Biblical Greek.
Advanced Greek Courses

1 John
Though rich in both theology and practical wisdom, 1 John contains some of the most accessible Greek in the New Testament.This course will walk word-by-word through the epistle, bringing the shape and flow of John’s message into focus. It consists of nine 90-minute lessons.
This class is open to all students who have completed Greek 4 with Kairos Classroom or another academic equivalent.

Everything changes when Jesus gets to Jerusalem. The narrative slows down, and the conflict between Jesus and the religious elites of Jerusalem takes center stage. Come see what the second gospel has to say about the Temple, the true meaning of the Law, and the Jewish eschatological expectations of the first century. “Let the reader understand!”
This course will walk word-by-word through Mark 11-13 and consists of nine 90-minute lessons.
This class is open to all students who have completed Greek 4 with Kairos Classroom or another academic equivalent.
