The Story of the Old Testament
To truly understand the Bible, you have to go back to the beginning…literally. The Old Testament can often feel disjointed and confusing if you are not familiar with the people, places, and events. However, these scriptures reveal one coherent story of how God interacts with his people in his creation.
In this five-part course, we will explore the story and themes of the Old Testament to discover where we fit in this grand narrative.
Why did God create the world in 7 days? What is our vocation as humans made in God's image? How does the Law apply to us today? What's the deal with sacrifices? What is the difference between Israel and Judah? By the end of this course, you will be able to tell the story of the Old Testament in less than 3 minutes and feel confident to study it on your own!
The courses will consist of five one-hour lessons, both live-streamed through Zoho and available for on-demand streaming for the six months following the course.
